Gene and Dave are proud to show off accessible Austin venues.

Gene and Dave are seen here talking to Tracy Terrell on the sun deck of The Marriott Downtown Convention Center Hotel.  You can even see the Austin Convention Center in the background.  Gene and Dave are hard at work once again filming.  The next episode of The Gene and Dave Show will feature many of their personal, favorite, and accessible places in Austin.  With their SXSW friends coming into Austin in mind, they are giving viewers a run down of how to get around, where to eat, where to stay, and where to “partay”.

While looking for the best place to stay in downtown Austin, Gene and Dave were turned away from many of the hotels who wouldn’t let them film or turned them away because they were having “accessibility issues“.  But Tracy Terrell, Director of Sales and Marketing at the Courtyard and Residence Inn Marriott Downtown Convention Center, welcomed them in with a fabulous, grand tour of the entire hotel.  The tour included not just your standard one or two accessible, ADA Compliant rooms, but twenty-two ADA Compliant Rooms.  Some of which included kitchenettes with roll-under sinks.   She even bought them a Starbucks coffee, which is also located inside the hotel.  We highly recommend them for your Downtown Austin travels.  Check them out for yourself at http://www.marriottaustindowntown.com/
